Last night I finished up a 4th little title animation with the Downtown Vineyard from norway. Pretty much the same process as last time, but quite a bit simpler, cause I’m way sick this week, and we had a pretty quick turnaround. I’m still just as tickled as before as to how easy a project like this is to bust out on a Macbook Air – the Mac Pro…

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, I know I sure did. It’s been a real treat to have a few days off to spend some time with family and friends and celebrate with my lady friend. Our first Christmas as married folk was brilliant – Annie rocked it, fancy shoes, leather goods, some kick-ass booze - and she even took me to Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on opening…

It’s been a rough year for both of ‘em – the 5ds hot shoe & flash circuit was toast, the upper housing was worn back to magnesium in spots, the upper LCD and controls…

Along with new printed portfolio – i just finished up work on some up to date digital portfolios – for stills and motion. I spent an outrageous amount of time troubleshooting the disks to function cross platform, a single cd-rw probably would have saved the lives of tens of innocent cd-rs… oh well.

borrowed the camp GoPro camera to test out last week when Annie and I helped drive for the school ski trip. Unfortunately we didnt have any adequate mounts so an insufficient amount of masking tape did the trick… for a little while at least. The results weren’t bad for a little camera under 2 bills – the blown out highlights were more a result of a quick haphazard color grade…
