despite having convinced myself that i would have all the major prep work for the wedding done well in advance – the week beforehand was still a mess. Chainsawing, oiling, carving, printing, cutting, drawing, gluing, folding, regluing, and general mess-making. I wish i would have taken more photos of the details we worked on, but the aforementioned activities got the best of us. spent a lot of time with a…

With all the work being done in preparation for the wedding, we thought we’d take a break and go play outside. Dan filled a box with stuff to wear, and a bunch of us headed down the street to take some photos in a big sand pit. As usual, the weather didnt agree with us, and it was both cold and rainy – didnt help that we went barefoot. Sand…

The whirlwind is over, im back a little more rested, a little tanner, a little richer, and a lot more married. words cannot begin to describe the joy the past few weeks have brought. Old friends, new friends, good weather, bad weather, working hard, relaxing… a little less hard actually, great food, better drinks, preparation preparation preparation, great memories, great lack of memories in some cases – i could go…

so in the midst of about ten-thousand of other (and more pressing) things to do – I thought i’d take a quick break to play and take my mind off things. Today annie and i headed out with our friend tom to play with some cameras ad get him comfortable with the acquisition of a new T3i. Figured annie and i would be good subjects as we almost never appear in a frame at the same time, and with the wedding coming up, it couldnt hurt to have some footage of us to use. We started downtown in brunswick, where for…

Happy Easter folks! At least to those of you who celebrate the holiday, or at least those that indulge in the mountain of pastel colored sweets, or anyone for that matter. Spent the evening with friends decorating eggs, drinking wine, and eating tasty things. Competition was held for the best decorated egg, yours truly knocked it out of the park. And now today – a little bit of sunshine, breakfast…

Along with new printed portfolio – i just finished up work on some up to date digital portfolios – for stills and motion. I spent an outrageous amount of time troubleshooting the disks to function cross platform, a single cd-rw probably would have saved the lives of tens of innocent cd-rs… oh well.

It’s been stupidly busy this month, between work starting the college at HLI, lining things up for wedding season, and that other big event coming up in just over 3 weeks now… i haven’t even had time to find matching socks. But one of the fruits of this has been some new print branding – new business cards, digital portfolios, and printed ones all made one at a time, not…
